Lawyer Alleges Foundation Funds Misused for Phuket Pool Villas
Lawyer Decha alleges "Boom" Panadda and her husband knew foundation funds built a Phuket pool villa project, citing her land ownership and site visits. He claims 45 million baht was misused, signatures forged, and tax evasion occurred, urgi
Lawyer Decha Kittiwittayanant, president of the Lawyer Decha Relief Network, on October 29, 2026, laid out allegations surrounding a pool villa project in Phuket's Thalang district. His client, contractor Mr. Ae, was close friends with the husband of Buam Panadda and partnered on a company to build and sell pool villas on two land plots titled in Buam's name, which she had mortgaged with a bank. The agreement split construction costs of roughly 7-9 million baht per unit and a 60-40 profit split on sales of 18-21 million baht. Decha asserts Buam was fully aware, citing photographic evidence of her visiting the site at least three times, and that as landowner she would have had to sign off on all construction.
Decha claims Buam accused Mr. Ae of colluding with a 'Mr. Got' to embezzle foundation funds, and urged her to pursue legal action against both her husband and Mr. Ae; otherwise, it appears to be a coordinated scheme. The project ran into trouble when the final construction payment of about 2.7 million baht went unpaid, and Mr. Ae could not reach Buam's husband. He then discovered the company had been dissolved without his knowledge, allegedly through forged signatures and falsified documents by Mr. Got — actions that legally require a majority resolution and notification of all creditors and shareholders, none of which included Mr. Ae.
After Mr. Ae attempted to retrieve equipment from the site, he found it blocked by individuals linked to Mr. Got and the foundation, with property damage reported; he has since filed a police report. Subsequently, Buam's husband declared the villas would not be sold and affixed foundation signage claiming the assets as foundation property. Investigation shows approximately 45 million baht in construction funds flowed from foundation accounts controlled by Buam and Mr. Got into Mr. Ae's account, then back to Mr. Got. Decha says Mr. Ae trusted his longtime friend and complied, only to face a multi-million baht back-tax demand from the Revenue Department due to the large sums passing through his accounts. Mr. Got allegedly promised to assist with the tax issue but has not. Mr. Ae now also faces a separate forest encroachment charge covering 109 rai.
