Lodon JetX marked its 50th outlet in cooperation with Bangchak Corporation and announced a goal to expand to 300 outlets by 2028. Apirat Thanadangsak, CEO of Lodon JetX, explained that the brand grew from more than eight years in the automatic car-wash sector, seeking to transform car washing in Thailand through technology that makes the service quick, easy, and aligned with modern lifestyles. The company’s key concept is the 'Automated Intelligence Car Wash,' which integrates AI and IoT Smart Car Wash Systems to provide a fully unmanned process before, during, and after washing, enabling 24‑hour operation and flexible customer access. Lodon JetX offers three main wash options: Express (3 minutes for 69 baht), Signature (5 minutes for 89 baht), and Ultimate (7 minutes for 119 baht), plus a 30‑day package for regular users, all available around the clock via the JetX Car Wash app. Behind the service is an IoT system that scans vehicles in real‑time 3D to guide brushes accurately, adjusts water pressure, detergent volume, and air flow according to the vehicle’s size to reduce waste, and monitors machine performance and customer feedback with AI around the clock. Equipment standards include CE‑certified and UL‑listed rollover car‑wash machines, IP67‑rated all‑weather motors, ultrasonic radar for object and person detection, anti‑collision systems, galvanized steel frames over 55 microns thick that have passed salt‑spray testing, and fifth‑generation digital dryers that operate quietly and save energy. Yosotorn Arannarat, Director of Business Development and Retail Partnerships at Bangchak Corporation, congratulated Lodon JetX on achieving 50 outlets at Bangchak stations, noting that the service meets current drivers’ needs for speed, convenience, quality, and value, and aligns with Bangchak’s Greenovative initiative.

Thai Deputy Finance Minister Santitham Sthiti‑thai warned at the IMF‑World Bank 2026 meeting in Bangkok that Thailand’s reliance on energy imports—nearly 10% of GDP—leaves it vulnerable to global economic shocks. He urged ASEAN to adopt a three‑step ‘support‑transition‑invest’ strategy and to build a regional financial‑climate shield involving data sharing, green standards, and pooled resources. Effective adaptation, he said, also requires knowledge, incentives, and capability, not just funding.
