Man Caught Smoking Cannabis at Hospital While Visiting Ill Mother

A 24-year-old man was found smoking cannabis at Nakhon Nayok Hospital on August 7. Hospital security reported a man smoking at a stone table near the obstetrics building, prompting police to investigate. Officers found the man in a white and black striped shirt crouching at a marble table and questioned him. A search of his belongings revealed a bag of cannabis and a knife, which were confiscated. Police also recovered a modified plastic bottle used as a smoking device that the man had hidden under a tree by the hospital wall. The suspect, identified as Mr. A (pseudonym), 24, apologized and admitted to smoking cannabis at the hospital, promising not to do so again. Hospital staff did not pursue charges and released him with a warning because he was there to care for his hospitalized mother.
