Mercedes-Benz has restructured pricing to stimulate year-end sales and formally unveiled the all-new electric GLC at Motor Expo. Christian Shell, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mercedes-Benz (Thailand) Limited, noted that since early 2025—the brand's 140th anniversary of automotive innovation—the company has introduced the all-new electric CLA, setting new standards for next-generation electric vehicles. The company also rebranded financial products and after-sales services under the FLEX Campaign, adopting a customer-centric strategy that delivers flexible and worry-free ownership experiences. August 2025 marketing figures reflected strong success, with online leads surging 188% and dealer-assigned leads climbing 181% compared to July.
Today marks another milestone: the Thailand debut of the all-new electric GLC, following its world premiere at IAA Mobility last year. The vehicle showcases Mercedes-Benz's new iconic design language and the advanced MB.OS superbrain operating system, which integrates AI technology and the MB.EA-M platform to enhance energy efficiency and range. The electric GLC is positioned to set new standards in Thailand's mid-size SUV segment.
The design philosophy of the all-new electric GLC reflects Mercedes-Benz's brand heritage, with the iconic grille serving as a key brand identifier. The new grille merges traditional brand DNA with the "Sensual Purity" concept and minimalist design principles, creating modern simplicity and instant visual recognition. Every detail has been meticulously crafted, featuring illuminated front-end elements, smoked-glass grille structure, contour lighting, and illuminated graphics that create an animated welcome presentation. Side lines and rear design employ light and shadow techniques to emphasize power and presence from every angle.
This design philosophy extends to the interior, elevating standard amenities into design elements. Highlights include the MBUX Hyperscreen extending across the console, galvanized air vents, climate control systems, and ambient lighting that works in perfect harmony with various driving modes to create an immersive cabin atmosphere.
The all-new electric GLC launches officially in Thailand at Motor Expo later this year, priced at no more than 3.7 million baht.
