Mazda introduced its second EV SUV, the CX-6e, with a sporty premium design that reimagines the brand’s signature identity while offering modern comfort and convenience. The model first attracted attention at the recent Motor Show, where Thai car enthusiasts expressed strong interest in seeing a locally available version. Today Mazda officially launched the CX-6e, announcing pricing for the new all‑electric crossover that aims to enrich every drive. The design has been refined through meticulous craftsmanship using Mazda’s KODO DESIGN language, blending technology and performance with a spacious interior that suits various lifestyles under the 'Crafted to Move You' philosophy.

Exterior highlights include an aerodynamic three‑dimensional Signature Wing grille with integrated daytime running lights that connect to sleek LED headlights, digital side mirrors that remain clear in rain or darkness, and new Cross Wing tail lights featuring a double‑layered bird‑wing shape that underscores Mazda’s modern design language; turn signals are placed on the outer wing for better visibility. The rear liftgate opener is located alongside the rear wiper stalk, eliminating the need to bend down.

Inside, the cabin is trimmed with two‑tone purple‑white leather, a 26.45‑inch digital rearview mirror that splits functions for driver and passenger, a large windshield‑mounted display that lets drivers keep eyes on the road, a 23‑speaker sound system, a panoramic roof with an electric sunshade, and maintains Mazda’s Jinba‑Ittai driving sensation through near 50:50 front‑to‑rear weight distribution, a MacPherson strut front suspension and a multi‑link rear setup.

Power comes from a 77.9 kWh lithium‑ion battery driving the rear wheels, producing a peak output of 258 hp and 290 Nm of torque, delivering a maximum driving range of 555 kilometers. The vehicle supports DC fast charging, allowing the battery to go from 30 % to 80 % in about 15 minutes. Safety is enhanced by an advanced driver‑assistance system suite.

The CX-6e is available in two trims—Premium and Premium Sports—and six exterior colors, headlined by the striking Nightfall Violet purple with a black roof. All colors are available for delivery starting today, with the Premium trim priced at 1.259 million baht and the Premium Sports at 1.299 million baht.
