MG Sales Thailand has launched an exclusive training programme called MG Urban Up Skill & Workshop for owners of the MG Urban electric vehicle. Chatchawit Tantraporn, Deputy Managing Director of MG Sales (Thailand), stated that modern electric vehicles come equipped with new technologies, making proper knowledge and understanding of the product essential. MG aims not only to offer vehicles that match customers' lifestyles and needs, but also to impart knowledge that helps users comprehend electric vehicles comprehensively—from technology operation and maintenance to handling various situations—enabling confident and safe driving for all road users.
The event was held at Gabriel Mary Building, Assumption University's New Energy Vehicle Research and Learning Centre, attracting 60 MG Urban owners. The programme began with a Technical Talk from MG experts covering electric vehicle fundamentals, the MG Urban's smart functions and technologies, battery system care, proper and safe charging procedures, after-sales service, and warranty information.
Participants then rotated through four hands-on workshops lasting 40 minutes each: emergency function operation, emergency equipment use, i-Smart system operation, and high-voltage electrical systems and charging knowledge. This practical, step-by-step approach allowed owners to ask experts directly and transform complex technical concepts into easily applicable real-world skills. The workshop reinforced MG's commitment to delivering valuable post-sales experiences by enriching customers' knowledge, skills, and understanding of their vehicles, ultimately making the transition to electric vehicle ownership more accessible and confident for users.
