Digital Economy Minister Chaiyachok Chidchob and Energy Minister Eknath Prom-phand held an urgent meeting with Democrat MP Supanart Meenchaiyanan to review data center establishment procedures in Bangkok ahead of tomorrow's board meeting, denying any political maneuvering. The meeting convened at Parliament on September 3, 2025 at 12:15 pm, attended by Interior Deputy Minister Palpeer Suwannachawi, Digital Economy Deputy Minister Nanlaon Boonyatida Somchai, Bangkok Deputy Governor Pornprom Nakawikitset, and Bangkok MP Supanart Meenchaiyanan of the Democrat Party. Minister Chaiyachok stated that the government is committed and sincere on this matter, adding that officials have gathered information on licensing procedures, capacity, and concerns about whether current arrangements deliver maximum long-term benefit to Thai citizens.
