MP Urges Continued Flood Relief Efforts in Bangkok Districts
MP Nattapong Ruangpanyawut visited flood‑hit Bang Kapi and Klong Sam Wa districts in Bangkok to encourage volunteer medical teams to keep assisting residents after the waters recede. He warned that the flood’s impact persists, with property damage and health issues needing ongoing care, and called for sustained support for recovery. Mobile medical units provided basic treatment and monitored for flood‑related diseases such as leptospirosis and gastrointestinal illness.
Accompanied by fellow party‑list MPs Natthaya Bunphakdi, Korakiat Kosutsakda, and Pimphan Keratiwirápakon, Nattapong toured Bang Kapi and Klong Sam Wa, visiting a mobile medical unit at Khaisri Prachom School to boost morale among doctors, nurses, and volunteers. He reiterated that flood relief must not end when the waters recede, because survivors still confront physical and mental health challenges and the burden of rebuilding their lives. The People’s Party emphasized that ensuring broad access to medical services and assistance is essential for victims to recover quickly and return to normal life.
