National Sports Fund Showcases Four Thai Athletic Heroes at Revolving Fund Awards

The National Sports Development Fund attended the 2025 Outstanding Revolving Fund Awards ceremony, organized by the Ministry of Finance's Comptroller General's Department on September 25 at IMPACT Forum in Muang Thong Thani. Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Ekniti Nitithanprasert presided over the event, with the National Sports Development Fund represented by Manager Thanupkitti Chanchum, Deputy Manager Chanasin Simadamrong, and Sports Fund Division Head Bhim Nakhonsri, who presented the fund's work through an exhibition booth.

Ekniti emphasized that revolving funds represent more than financial management—they are crucial mechanisms for creating opportunities and value for the public and nation. With approximately 5 trillion baht in combined revolving fund assets, representing roughly one quarter of the national economy, effective management can generate significant opportunities and drive sustainable national development. He noted that the awards recognize the dedicated workers behind these funds who manage resources for maximum benefit, with clear targets and measurable outcomes.

A highlight of the event was the participation of four Thai athletic champions who engaged with attendees and connected the revolving fund narrative to Thai sports. The athletes included Samrakchai Kamsing, former Olympic gold-medalist boxer; "F Nakhon Nayok" Tephchai Umnoo, professional snooker player; "Ai" Sarisawan Phuwijit, former national swimming champion; and "Amp" Ganjuda Pattraboonson, MMA athlete and Asian Games gold-medalist. The National Sports Development Fund's participation in the event showcased the fund's mission to support and promote Thai sports while demonstrating how effective resource management creates opportunities and value across all sectors of society.
