Northern Thailand OTOP Products Showcase Comes to Bangkok and Udon Thani
Four northern provinces bring handcrafted goods, textiles, and food to Bangkok and Udon Thani this September and October, with live music and daily prize draws at two shopping mall events featuring 80 OTOP vendors.
The Upper Northern Region 1 provincial group—comprising Chiang Mai, Lamphun, Lampang, and Mae Hong Son—is staging the "Shop with Heart: OTOP Local Lanna Goods" event to showcase and sell community products. The initiative aims to expand market channels, strengthen OTOP entrepreneurs' capabilities, and promote regional community product development.
The event runs at two locations with a combined 80 shops. The first venue is at JJ Mall, Bangkok (September 23–27, 2025) with 40 vendors, and the second is at Central Udon shopping mall in Udon Thani province (September 30–October 4, 2025) with 40 vendors. Visitors will find traditional handicrafts, textiles, processed goods, food, and souvenirs from all four provinces.
Highlights include mini-concerts by featured artists (Maai Mueang on September 25 in Bangkok, and Gae Wannathakant on October 3 in Udon Thani), daily prize draws offering over 3,000 baht in rewards, special flash sales, and social media giveaways including exclusive fabric bags. The public and tourists are invited to support community products, experience Lanna culture, and enjoy entertainment and promotions throughout both events.
