Prices jumped 400 baht compared to the previous day's close on September 24. Gold bars are currently trading at 67,700 baht per baht weight for purchases and 67,900 baht for sales, while 96.5% ornamental gold is quoted at 66,340.16 baht for buying and 68,700 baht for selling. Global spot gold prices stand at 4,291 US dollars per ounce. Gold traders expect the market to open tomorrow with prices potentially climbing another 1,000 to 2,000 baht per baht weight, possibly breaking through the 80,000-baht level.
