On August 9, 2569, at Parliament, Priset Wattharasindu, a Pheu Thai party list member and coordinator of the opposition coalition in the House of Representatives, confirmed that a no-confidence motion against the government will be filed during the next parliamentary session under Article 151 of the Constitution. The exact timing will be determined through consultation among coalition parties and review of Parliament's schedule, as the legislative session is expected to open in late August, with initial agenda items including consideration of the fiscal year 2570 budget bill in readings 2-3, anticipated to reach the House in September.

The Constitutional Court has released its full verdict on the royal decree granting the Finance Ministry authority to borrow 400 billion baht, raising the possibility that Parliament may convene a special session to consider the loan decree. "We will definitely file the no-confidence motion in the next session, but the exact month will depend on the calendar and consultation with coalition partners—though we won't delay," Priset stated.

When asked if the opposition risks losing ground, Priset assured that the no-confidence motion will not backfire. The motion will address Senate fraud, local election cheating, the TH-AI passport project, the 400-billion-baht loan decree for energy transition restructuring, and numerous other issues currently being compiled. Since Parliament's last recess, the Pheu Thai party instructed its members to gather information and evidence for the motion, with several lawmakers already submitting materials.

Priset added that Senate fraud allegations are relevant to the government because ministers in the current cabinet face accusations, potentially making this one of the largest corruption cases involving government officials.
