The Poh Teck Tung Foundation continues its post-flood recovery project, deploying a disaster relief team to Nan Province to assist flood victims. The team distributed 1,500 relief packs containing rice, canned fish, instant noodles, cooking oil, and fish sauce, and provided 20,000 baht in funeral assistance to one bereaved family. Total aid amounted to 715,000 baht.

According to reports, flooding has occurred in multiple regions of Thailand, causing loss of life and property. Foundation Chairman Veerasak Tepaiboon assigned General Manager Aran Todtod to order the disaster relief unit to immediately proceed with the post-flood recovery project. On September 28, 2026, Rassaporn Prasongsub, head of the disaster relief department, led a team to Nan Province, handing out relief packs at the Pua and Tha Wang Pha district offices. The packs included rice, canned fish, instant noodles, cooking oil, and fish sauce, packed in foundation cloth bags. Additionally, 20,000 baht in funeral assistance was given to one family. Overall, the relief effort for this flood event totaled 715,000 baht.

Since the flooding began, the foundation has deployed disaster response teams consisting of rescuers, medics, volunteers, and equipment such as flat-bottomed boats, water rescue gear, generators, 4x4 high-lift vehicles, 4-wheel-drive ambulances, life jackets, drinking water, and household medicine kits. They have set up mobile kitchens and opened the foundation’s grounds to pack emergency relief bags for teams to continue assisting victims. The foundation continues to monitor the flood situation to assess and expedite assistance to victims in various needs.
