Police Deny Arrest Warrant Issued for Boom Pannada in Charity Fund Case
Thai police have denied rumors that an arrest warrant was issued for social media personality Boom Pannada in connection with the Do Good Organization Foundation embezzlement case. The Central Investigation Bureau confirmed investigators are still reviewing evidence and have not yet petitioned the court for any warrants. A final evidence review is planned before authorities decide on further legal action.
On November 5, Central Investigation Bureau chief Pol Lt Gen Natthasak Chaowanat revealed progress in gathering witness evidence to request arrest warrants for individuals involved in withdrawing funds from the Do Good Organization Foundation account for improper purposes. He stated a meeting would be held with investigators from the Economic Crime Suppression Division to assess the case status and determine legal next steps. ECSD chief Pol Col Thasphum Charuprasert disclosed that investigators had not yet requested any arrest warrants and the court had not issued warrants for anyone in the foundation case, including Ms. Pannada Wongphudi, known as Boom Pannada, contrary to circulating rumors. He said he would conduct a final review of witness evidence with the task force before proceeding further.
