Police Probe Death of Man Found Near Bang Lamung Bridge
A man in his mid-30s was found dead beneath Bangkok Lamung Ring Road bridge in Chon Buri with injuries consistent with a fall from height; police are reviewing CCTV footage to identify him and determine the exact cause.
Police are investigating the death of a man in dark clothing found lying dead on Road 36 beneath the Bang Lamung Ring Road bridge heading toward Saatthip, with initial evidence suggesting he may have fallen from a height.
At 2:30 p.m. on September 19, Deputy Superintendent Surasit Sukmak of Huay Yai Police Station received a report of the body along the roadside in Huay Yai Subdistrict, Bang Lamung District, Chon Buri. Medical examiners and rescue personnel from Pattaya responded to the scene.
At the location, officers found a man aged approximately 35–40 years lying face-down in black shorts with black long underwear, a black short-sleeved shirt, and black arm sleeves. He had wounds on both legs resembling fractures and a large wound beneath his chin. An initial autopsy examination suggested the injuries were consistent with a fall from height.
Authorities have sent the body for a detailed autopsy and are urgently reviewing CCTV footage from the area and surrounding locations to identify the victim and clarify the true cause of death.
