Royal Thai Air Force Distributes Second Day of Meal Boxes to Flood Victims
The Royal Thai Air Force distributed 2,000 meal boxes on its second day of flood relief efforts, providing three daily meals at two locations in affected areas until waters recede.
The Royal Thai Air Force's Disaster Relief Center continued its relief efforts on September 27, distributing 2,000 meal boxes to residents suffering from widespread flooding caused by heavy cumulative rainfall. Air Force Commander Seksarn Kantha, in his capacity as director of the Disaster Relief Center, and Aphistha Kantha, chair of the Air Force Officers' Wives Association, personally led the distribution at the Royal Thai Air Force Welfare Building in Thadindaeng and the Non-Commissioned Officers' Club in Thungsikhan. The air force has arranged to provide meals at three times each day—8:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 6:30 p.m.—at the designated locations for as long as the flooding persists. Those seeking assistance are asked to contact the Disaster Relief Center at 02 534-2096.
