SC has launched its first mega riverfront condo project in Bang Pho, Bangkok, valued at 11 billion baht. SC sees opportunity in developing condominiums along the Chao Phraya River because demand for riverfront living remains steady while suitable land is scarce, especially in Bang Pho, an old timber trading area with limited river‑front plots. After nearly a year of negotiations, the company secured about 13 rai of land roughly 450 meters from MRT Bang Pho station. The project, named Reference BAIE River Bang Pho, is SC’s first mega riverfront condo development, comprising three buildings: Riviera (53 floors), The Horizon (52 floors), and Panorama (10 floors) for a total of 1,742 units under the concept “Cruise Collection The Art of Vacation”. Even before the official presale opening on October 17‑18, sales have already exceeded 2.5 billion baht, and SC now expects to reach about 3 billion baht by the end of the year. Average price is around 135,000 baht per square metre, with units starting at 2.89 million baht. Unit sizes range from studios of 23.8‑176 square metres to a penthouse of 274.4 square metres; roughly 90‑95 % of units offer a river view. Buyers come from across Bangkok, attracted by river living, views, design, and amenities suited to multi‑generational lifestyles. SC cautions that not every riverfront project can command the same prices, emphasizing that affordability remains a key factor for consumers.
