On November 7, 2026, at approximately 06:00, rescue workers from the Udon Sawang Metatham Foundation in Udon Thani responded to a collision between a sedan and a parked 10-wheel truck on the outbound lane of the Udon Thani-Nong Khai Road, opposite Mittraphap 6 School.

At the scene, the sedan's front end was completely wrecked, having plowed into the rear of the truck which was parked on the shoulder. Rescuers used cutting equipment to extract the body from the wreckage.

The truck driver told police he had stopped to take a break and drink coffee when he suddenly heard a loud crash at the rear of his vehicle and discovered the sedan had slammed into him.
