Siam Paragon Hosts Thai Heritage Exhibition for IMF Delegates
Siam Paragon has opened the ‘Siam Paragon The Art of Royal Craft: Explore Thai Heritage Experience’ exhibition, running until October 18, 2026, in conjunction with the IMF‑World Bank Group Annual Meetings 2026. The event showcases Thai craftsmanship through exhibitions, workshops, and a global Thai silk display, attended by officials and international delegates.
The exhibition opened on October 12, 2026, with a ceremony attended by representatives from the SUPPORT Foundation, the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the Thai Silk Association, and other partners, as well as ambassadors from various countries. Siam Paragon executives M.L. Adisorn Snitwongse and Sopida Kittikomolsook welcomed guests. The ‘Thai Heritage and Artistry Exhibition’ on the third‑floor Living Hall presents 50 years of SUPPORT work, items from the Arts of the Kingdom Museum, a Khon learning center, and the Queen Sirikit Textile Museum featuring creations by national artist Teerapat Wanrattan. Visitors can join hands‑on workshops such as making fabric bags using the ancient gold‑leaf technique from Khon painting, crafting Thai‑style paper dolls, and blending Thai fragrances from local herbs and plants, taking home their creations as souvenirs. An additional highlight is the ‘Amazing Thailand Global Thai Silk Exhibition’, where the Tourism Authority of Thailand and the Thai Silk Association have sent Thai silk to designers in over 100 countries across six regions — Asia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, North America, and South America — to be turned into new garments that convey each culture’s identity.
