All 500 million baht in SJWD digital bonds were sold out within 46 seconds on the Krung Thai Bank's Pao Tang investment app, demonstrating strong investor confidence and effective connection between bond issuers and retail investors. Ravinder Bunyanusat, head of the money and capital markets business at Krung Thai Bank, stated that the bank aims to develop digital financial infrastructure to help businesses access funding efficiently while expanding retail investor access to capital market products. The collaboration with SCG Double You D Logistics Public Company Limited (SJWD) on the company's first digital bond issuance received overwhelming response, with the full 500 million baht subscribed within 46 seconds. This success reflects investor confidence in SJWD and the capability of the Pao Tang bond trading wallet on the app, which provides complete investment support from subscription and payment through interest and principal collection to secondary market trading, allowing investors to conveniently monitor and manage their bonds in one place. This aligns with Krung Thai Bank's strategy to develop digital financial infrastructure and increase public access to capital market investment products. "We thank investors for their confidence and thank SJWD for trusting Krung Thai Bank to support the company's first digital bond issuance. The response demonstrates the readiness of both the business sector and investors to use digital technology as part of the capital market. The bank will continue developing investment technology to expand funding options for businesses and provide the public with convenient, secure, equitable, and widespread investment opportunities," Ravinder said.
