Suzuki Thailand affirmed its commitment to maintaining consistent service standards even after transitioning to importing vehicles exclusively this year, citing deep understanding of Thai customer behavior. Managing Director Vallop Triruksagam outlined the company's strategy to continue emphasizing vehicle value, easy maintenance, and nationwide after-sales service that reassures customers from their first purchase through the vehicle's entire lifespan.
Suzuki has operated in Thailand for 50 to 60 years, evolving from initial imports to local factory production and back to importing again. However, the company has never wavered on after-sales service, with 77 service centers nationwide now supporting Suzuki vehicles up to 20 to 30 years old.
The company plans to expand service centers to reach every provincial capital, with particular focus on the North and Northeast regions. It will deploy a 2S model featuring service centers and spare parts inventory but no sales operations, lowering investment costs for franchisees and enabling faster returns while meeting modern customer preferences for online shopping paired with nearby service convenience.
Beyond expansion, Suzuki is developing its workforce through technician training to support new models with advanced technology arriving in the Thai market. The company has launched the Hello!! SUZUKI mobile app to enhance customer experience, offering transparent and accurate service communication. Customers can book appointments, receive price quotes before approval, track service progress in real time, and earn reward points—all designed to build trust and exceed customer expectations.
