SME D Bank Managing Director Pichet Mittrawong announced that following recent natural disasters affecting SMEs across multiple regions, the bank has continuously implemented government relief measures including debt repayment holidays and emergency capital top-ups. The latest initiative is the "SME Flood Recovery Empowerment Loan" with a total ceiling of 400 million baht, designed to give affected SMEs sufficient funds to restore premises and businesses once floodwaters recede, enabling a swift return to normal operations.
The loan carries a special fixed rate of just 3% per year for the first three years, maximum ten-year tenor, up to 1 million baht per borrower, and no collateral requirement. The bank has also streamlined its credit approval process for speed and flexibility. "Our 'open umbrella never closes' stance means we stand by SMEs in every situation," Pichet said, noting the funds can repair damaged buildings, machinery, and equipment while also serving as working capital and expense reserves.
Interested SMEs can apply from today until 30 December 2026 or until the quota is filled, via any SME D Bank branch nationwide, the LINE Official Account "SME Development Bank," the website www.smebank.co.th, or by calling the Call Center at 1357.
