SME D Bank has launched emergency relief measures for small and medium-sized enterprises nationwide affected by recent flooding. The package includes debt and interest payment suspension of up to 12 months and emergency capital funding of up to 200,000 baht without collateral, designed to reduce costs and help businesses recover quickly.

Pichit Mithrawong, managing director of SME D Bank, said heavy rainfall across the central region, eastern provinces, Bangkok, and surrounding areas has caused sudden flooding that directly and indirectly damaged small business operations. In response, the bank is offering emergency assistance for SME operators in officially designated disaster areas through two main measures.

The first measure provides debt and interest payment suspension of up to 12 months for affected customers. Term loan borrowers can defer principal and interest payments for up to 12 months, while revolving credit facilities and factoring clients can extend repayment periods by up to 180 days with interest relief to reduce financial burden during recovery.

The second measure offers emergency capital loans of up to 200,000 baht for business repairs and rehabilitation. Eligible existing customers with direct damage and operations in designated disaster zones can apply for loans at 10 percent of their existing credit line, with a minimum of 30,000 baht and maximum of 100,000 baht for individuals or 200,000 baht for businesses. These loans carry an MLR annual rate with a three-year term, a 12-month principal payment grace period, no collateral requirement, and waived fees. Streamlined documentation processes expedite fund access for directly affected customers.

Beyond emergency measures, SME D Bank also offers additional capital loans for liquidity, investment, or business expansion once the flooding situation subsides. These include special rates of 3 percent annually fixed for the first three years, repayment periods up to 10 years, and principal payment holidays up to 12 months. Products include SME Green Productivity loans up to 30 million baht, SME Awakening loans up to 1 million baht, and Beyond Wings SME loans up to 30 million baht.

The emergency relief measures are voluntary. Interested operators can register immediately through all SME D Bank branches nationwide, the bank's LINE Official Account, the website www.smebank.co.th, or by calling the call center at 1357 for more information.
