BANGKOK — Taiwan is leveraging AI, big data, and semiconductor strengths to build a next‑generation medical ecosystem, seeking to reshape global healthcare from innovation to execution. At Thailand LAB INTERNATIONAL 2026, held September 2–4 at BITEC Bangna, the Taiwan Pavilion—organized by the Taiwan International Trade Administration (TITA) and executed by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA)—features 22 leading Taiwanese healthcare institutions, biotech pioneers, and technology innovators under the theme “Smart Healthcare × Precision Diagnostics × Bio Innovation × Health Promotion.” The pavilion presents an end‑to‑end medical ecosystem for ASEAN expansion, covering smart hospital management, point‑of‑cell therapy, AI‑driven diagnostics, preventive medicine, and functional wellness. Exhibits are grouped into four domains: Smart Healthcare & AI Digital Medicine (Fu Jen Catholic University Hospital, DeepRad AI, Morning Dew Creative Technical); Precision Diagnostics & Genomics (Good Future BioMed, Pharmigene, Genomics BioSci & Tech, Vita Genomics, Fethiann Molecule Applied); Advanced Cell Therapy & Laboratory Equipment (YJ Biotechnology, TIRS OPTICS, People Life TEK); and Preventive Care, Wellness & Consulting (International Cryptomonadales Biotech, OmQi Technology & CSHA, Flowers Biological Technology & Vitality Plus, Healthmate & Jizhi Management Consulting). Taichung Veterans General Hospital serves as the clinical anchor, demonstrating AI’s transition from lab to bedside under Superintendent Yun‑Ching Fu, MD, PhD, with pioneering applications in cardiology, robotic surgery, CAR‑T cell therapy, and automated hospital infrastructure.
