Teacher Killed in Kindergarten Shooting in Chon Buri

On September 9, 2026, gunfire erupted inside Nong Pla Lai Municipality Kindergarten in Nong Pla Lai Subdistrict, Bang Lamung District, Chon Buri Province, alarming teachers and students. Police and relevant agencies immediately arrived to secure the area.

Initial investigation found one teacher dead. The shooter is believed to be a police officer and the victim's boyfriend. Authorities are conducting a detailed investigation.

The school and local authorities have ordered an immediate temporary closure and are coordinating with parents to pick up their children for safety. Officials confirm all students are safe and under close supervision while awaiting parental pickup.
