Thai Athlete Wins Bronze in Taekwondo Poomsae at Asian Games
Thai taekwondo athlete Bai Por won a bronze medal in the women’s individual poomsae event at the 20th Asian Games in Nagoya, Japan. She scored 9.0400 points in the final, finishing behind South Korea’s Jon Ha-eun (gold) and the Philippines’ Juliana Michael Candelaria (silver). The competition marked the opening day of the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games.

On October 1, 2069, the first day of competition in the women’s individual poomsae category, Thai athlete Bai Por (Thitaree Kaewolawasu) competed, showing an excellent performance to reach the final before scoring 9.0400 points to win the bronze medal. The gold medal was won by Jon Ha-eun of South Korea with 9.3100 points, and the silver by Juliana Michael Candelaria of the Philippines with 9.1300 points.
