Bhuphuri Bunson shared his thoughts on Facebook after his standout showing at the 2026 Asian Games, thanking himself for never losing confidence. The Thai athletics squad has arrived back in Thailand after securing three gold, two silver and one bronze medal at the 20th Asian Games held in Nagoya, Aichi, Japan. Bhuphuri claimed two gold medals and one silver, breaking the national records in both the 100‑meter and 200‑meter races. In his post, he wrote, “The Games are over for me. Thank you to myself for persevering and training hard; thank you for never losing faith in yourself. No one will believe in you until you prove it. I want to thank my coach and all the senior staff who have worked alongside me, pushing me forward. Thanks to my family for their constant support and encouragement, and most of all to every Thai who cheered from the stands or in front of their screens. This competition gave me lessons, memories and extra motivation. I never imagined I could reach this point; it surpasses my dreams. I am delighted and proud to have won the medals I hoped would inspire all Thais. I will take my mistakes back to training, work even harder, and see you at the next step. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
