"It was better than expected," Bunsoan said. "In the qualifying round, I just aimed to run according to the coach's plan—accelerate hard over the first 30 meters, then settle into my stride and unlock my full potential. This is my best time this year. After running 9.99 seconds before, getting 9.95 seconds makes me very happy."
"Right now I have no worries, just excitement. I came here determined to win gold, and people see me as a favorite, so there's a bit of pressure. I'd really appreciate your support in the semi-finals and finals tomorrow," he added.
