After the tournament, association secretary Akarin Hiranphruet, serving as tournament director, said this was the second of three planned championships for the year. Participation has increased, notably from Ban Thadin Daeng School in Thong Pha Phum District, Kanchanaburi Province, where the association and PTOR Public Company Limited have donated two squash courts to create sporting opportunities for children in remote areas and develop rising stars for the national team — a sign the association's athlete development project is progressing well.
