Thailand Distributes 135 Million Baht to Nan Flood Victims
The Thai government has distributed 135 million baht to nearly 15,100 flood-affected households in Nan province, with remaining victims urged to complete their bank account registrations to receive their 9,000-baht relief payments.
The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation and Krung Thai Bank transferred relief funds to flood victims in Nan province on September 8, 2025, following a Cabinet resolution from August 25 allocating 9,000 baht per affected household. Of the 15,215 eligible beneficiaries identified, 15,080 households have already received transfers totaling 135.72 million baht into their bank accounts.
The remaining flood victims have not yet linked their Promptpay accounts to their national ID numbers and are awaiting processing. Authorities urge all affected residents to verify and complete their Promptpay account registration with their ID numbers to enable faster fund transfers through the official channels.
