A fatal accident occurred when a large boulder fell onto a pickup truck on the Thoen-Li Road at kilometer 117 in Thoen District, Lampang Province, just before the Nangram curve in Napo Subdistrict. The incident was reported at 6:15 p.m. on September 8, 2026, by the Lampang Rescue Association's Thoen branch. The driver was killed at the scene. Emergency medical teams and volunteer rescue workers from the Lampang Rescue Association's Thoen branch have been dispatched. Police and relevant agencies, along with rescue teams, are currently operating at the scene. All drivers in the area are urged to slow down and drive with extreme caution.
