Coach Kiatpongsa Ratchtagriangkrai, head coach of Thailand's national women's volleyball team, commented after the team lost to China 2-3 in the semi-final on September 21, saying: "I congratulate China for showing excellent performance. Their 3-2 victory was a high-quality match that demonstrated their significant strengths—excellent serving and effective blocking. Their key players scored well, building team confidence and making it difficult for Thailand to play. We were unable to create sufficient counter-attacking opportunities and failed to put adequate pressure on our opponents."
