Thailand Resumes Train Service on Watthana Nakhon-Aranyaprathet Route
The State Railway of Thailand has resumed train services on the Watthana Nakhon-Aranyaprathet route after confirming the track is safe. The reopening took effect on 2 October 2026. Passengers can monitor services through the TTS system or call the 24‑hour customer hotline at 1690.
SRT announced the reopening of the Watthana Nakhon-Aranyaprathet rail section after officials inspected the track and assessed readiness, finding it safe to resume train operations from 2 October 2026 onward. Passengers can check schedules and track service status via the TTS system at https://ttsview.railway.co.th/ or contact the Customer Relations Centre at 1690, available 24 hours a day.
