Three Suspects Arrested for Convenience Store Robbery
Three men were arrested in connection with a September 3 convenience store robbery on Rama IV Road, after police traced them through CCTV footage and recovered stolen merchandise worth 1,445 baht.
Thung Maha Meek Police have arrested three suspects accused of robbing a convenience store on Rama IV Road on September 3, 2026. The suspects—Piyapan (28 years old), Komsant (35 years old), and Kittisak (29 years old)—were taken into custody along with stolen merchandise valued at 1,445 baht.
According to the investigation, the three men parked a motorcycle outside the store, entered, and began placing items into bags. They purchased only some items without paying the full amount. The suspects then threatened staff with violence and brandished a metal sign reading "Please use the next counter" as a weapon before fleeing. Police officers from Thung Maha Meek Station reviewed CCTV footage from the store and surrounding areas to track their movements and identify the culprits.
When apprehended in the Chaiyamongkol community area on Rama IV Road, all three suspects confessed to the crime. They admitted they became aggressive and committed the robbery after taking alprazolam. Authorities have charged them with nighttime robbery using a vehicle as a getaway means and absconding to evade arrest. The suspects have been transferred to police for further legal proceedings.
