Toyota Gazoo Racing Thailand Enters Hilux TRAVO in 2026 Asia Cross Country Rally
Toyota Gazoo Racing Thailand unveiled three Hilux TRAVO trucks for the 2026 Asia Cross Country Rally, a 2,000-kilometer endurance test across Thailand designed to develop performance data for consumer vehicles.
TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Thailand officially unveiled its racing lineup on August 9 at Walking Street in South Pattaya, with three Hilux TRAVO vehicles competing in the Asia Cross Country Rally 2026. The team includes two T1D-class trucks driven by Mana Phornsirirchird with Kittisak Glinchan and Nathapol Angrathanon with Thanyapat Menil, plus one T2A-D truck piloted by Phoomimas Thinjantorn and Prakay Namjai khonsai. The grueling 2,000-kilometer rally from Pattaya to Phitsanulok from August 10–15 will serve as a critical test of both vehicle performance and driver skill on some of Thailand's most challenging terrain, with Toyota using the experience to gather data for developing improved vehicles for Thai consumers under its "Making Ever-Better Motorsports-Bred Cars" philosophy.
