Woman Brings 100 Pumpkins to Ayutthaya Shrine for Blessing
A 27‑year‑old seafood wholesale owner from Pathum Thani brought 100 pumpkins to a hermitage in Ayutthaya to give thanks after her sales targets were met. While there, visitors photographed wax droplets in the holy‑water basin and reported seeing the numbers 82 and 1653, which they plan to use for luck. The woman says she regularly makes the offering with her family.
The event took place on October 14, 2026 at the Resi Narai Dhatutthawut Hermitage, Moo 4, Pho Thong Subdistrict, Bang Sai District, Ayutthaya Province. Miss Jane, 27, owner of the well‑known seafood wholesale shop at Four Corner Market in Pathum Thani, arrived with her family to offer 100 pumpkins to the Grand Brahmin Hermit. She said she had prayed for sales success and, after achieving her goal, returned to fulfill her vow. Jane and her family often make this offering. Meanwhile, other visitors also paid homage to the nine‑faced Thao Wessuwan statue, the Lady Takian shrine, Ganesh, Sangkajai, Luang Pho Mi, the Jindamani cave, and the wealthy child spirit Kumarn Thong. Devotees left offerings such as pumpkins, red water, sweets, toys, bicycles, and rice. At the merit‑hall in front of the Grand Brahmin Hermit, people gathered to photograph candle‑wax droplets floating and clustering in the holy‑water basin, hoping to extract lucky numbers. This time the numbers seen were 82 and 1653, and many visitors snapped pictures from different angles to use the numbers for gambling.
