YouTuber Hlun Solo's Family Prepares to Repatriate Body to Thailand
YouTuber Hlun Solo's family is arranging to repatriate his remains to Thailand, where additional autopsies will be conducted before merit-making ceremonies at Chulalongkorn University within 1–2 days of arrival.
On August 3, 2026, the brother of Hlun Solo, a well-known YouTuber, posted an update on Facebook under the account "Klose Mos" regarding arrangements for bringing his brother's remains back to Thailand. He announced that following completion of the initial autopsy in Thailand, the family will proceed with additional autopsy procedures at the Thai Forensic Science Institute to ensure all procedures are conducted thoroughly and transparently. The remains will then be brought home for religious merit-making ceremonies, with the entire process expected to take approximately 1–2 days from arrival in Thailand. Once all arrangements are finalized, the family will announce the date, time, and location of the merit-making ceremony. The family expressed deep gratitude for the continuous support, concern, and assistance received from all sectors, and thanked Chulalongkorn University officials, including Rector Wilaichitr Boorivatton and Dean Pokorn Siriprako, for their support and willingness to host the first night of the merit-making ceremony. The family invited those wishing to help to contribute necessary items for the ceremony, such as tents, tables, chairs, fans, sound systems, lighting, portable restrooms, drinking water, and other supplies. The family emphasized they are not soliciting help but rather opening an opportunity for those who wish to pay their final respects to contribute according to their means and faith. The family thanked everyone for their support and pledged to announce further details as soon as confirmed.
