10‑Wheel Truck Rams 6‑Wheel Container Truck, Three Seriously Injured
An early‑morning crash at a Sisaket intersection saw a 10‑wheel truck slam into a 6‑wheel container truck, leaving three people seriously injured and trapped inside the wreckage. Rescue crews spent over an hour extricating the victims before sending them to Sisaket Hospital for treatment. Police are investigating the cause of the collision.
The collision occurred when the 10‑wheel truck, traveling from the Sisaket Provincial Administrative Organization toward the provincial land‑development station, struck the container truck that was proceeding from Ramkhamhaeng University toward downtown Sisaket. Witness Bin Phakin, a 19‑year‑old motorcyclist, said he saw the 10‑wheel truck suddenly hit the container truck, causing a loud crash and severe damage to both vehicles. The container truck was carrying plastic glasses and assorted goods destined for city shops, while the 10‑wheel truck carried boots, snacks and various consumables bound for warehouses in Sisaket or Ubon Ratchathani. Rescue teams used lifting equipment and cutting tools to free the trapped victims, a process that took more than an hour. Three people suffered serious injuries and were rushed to Sisaket Hospital for urgent treatment; police are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
