Six-Wheel Truck Flips on Pattaya Road, 11 Injured

A six-wheel worker transport truck lost control and overturned on Highway 36 (Krathing Lai to Rayong) heading towards Pattaya at kilometer 3+600 in Nong Pla Lai subdistrict, Bang Lamung district, Chon Buri province on September 22. The accident left multiple people injured, prompting rescue officials and medical teams from several hospitals to respond immediately.
Rescue teams from the Sawang Boriboon Thammasat Foundation Pattaya branch arrived with equipment and ambulances, coordinating with Bang Lamung police and medical teams from Pattaya Pathumkonjn Hospital, Bangkok Pattaya Hospital, and Muang Pattaya Hospital. At the scene, a six-wheel truck with Maha Sarakham license plates was found overturned on the left roadside. Rescuers and medical teams provided emergency first aid before transporting 11 injured people—9 men and 2 women, with varying degrees of injury—to the three hospitals for treatment.
Driver Chaiyya Mayotha, 56, reported that while transporting workers from Rayong to a company in Si Racha, Chon Buri, the truck was traveling in the center lane when it hit a slippery section and drifted right. A pickup truck was in the right lane, so he steered left to avoid collision, but the truck lost control and overturned onto the roadside. Bang Lamung police are investigating, documenting the scene, and interviewing the driver, injured parties, and witnesses to determine the exact cause and proceed with legal steps.
