Democrat MP Fires Back at Anutin Over Parliament Summons Dispute
Democrat MP Krunpol Thiensuwan fired back at PM Anutin Charnvirakul on September 22 over a dispute regarding parliament summons for a fellow party member, with Krunpol posting a pointed response accusing Anutin of squandering merit.
On September 22, Krunpol Thiensuwan, a Democrat party list MP and deputy spokesperson for the party, posted a response to Prime Minister and Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul. This came after Anutin had commented on a request for fellow Democrat MP Sirikanya Tansukul, the party's deputy leader, to appear in parliament to answer written questions. Anutin had remarked, "Let's wait for an auspicious moment first."
Krunpol shared a screenshot of Anutin's comment and responded: "Your fortune may not arrive as expected, sir. Regardless, our party will continue doing good deeds. The point is, Prime Minister, don't squander your merit too quickly. But frankly, someone like you will likely have a hard time going there—you may be bedridden in agony for a long time before you descend below." He added hashtags referencing the prime minister and calling him a keyboard warrior, along with the Democrat party hashtag.
