The Tourism Authority of Thailand is driving sustainable tourism momentum with Amazing Green Fest 2026, now in its third consecutive year, running September 11-13, 2026, at Sanam Luang Park in Nakhon Pathom Province. Under the theme "Travel Changes Cities, Green Changes the World," the festival seeks to expand the base of environmentally conscious people across all generations, making sustainability concepts accessible and actionable through activities linking tourism with environmental and community care.
Supodit Ongbanjong, Executive Director of the TAT Governor's Office, said the 2026 festival builds on the success of the previous two editions while reinforcing TAT's role in making sustainable tourism tangible and accessible to everyone. The event aligns with Thailand's 2025 strategic direction to position the country as Asia's No.1 High-Value & Meaningful Destination, with clear emphasis on sustainability through low-carbon hotel standards, sustainable tourism area models in Nan Province and the Wellness Valley, and income distribution to secondary cities via over 55 community tourism networks.
Amazing Green Fest 2026 features eight highlight zones blending sustainability with diverse travel experiences. Zone 1, Amazing Green Stories, uses extended reality technology to virtually transport visitors to five sustainable tourism destinations across five regions. Zone 2, Amazing Green Tourism, showcases TAT's social and environmental responsibility initiatives and programs elevating communities and businesses. Zone 3, Amazing Living, presents green brands, organic products, and networking opportunities connecting producers, consumers, and businesses to create sustainable economic value.
