Anti-Graft Office Reveals Ex-Minister's Assets Worth 1.16 Billion Baht

The National Anti-Corruption Commission has disclosed the asset and liability statement of Thammanat Prommapan, a Phayao MP from the Bhumjaithai Party who recently left his post as Agriculture and Cooperatives Minister under PM Anutin Charnvirakul. Thammanat, whose former names include Manas and Thammasawat, reported two registered spouses: Arisara Prommapan and Thanaporn Sriviracha, with whom he is cohabiting as husband and wife. The three adults and their minor children declared combined assets totalling 1,160,822,128 baht and liabilities of 65,535,593 baht.
Thammanat personally declared 703,991,297 baht in assets, comprising 273.5 million baht across 41 bank accounts, 11.15 million baht in investments, 90 land plots valued at 164.6 million baht (mostly in Phayao Province), 21 buildings worth 59.1 million baht including townhouses and condominiums, 21 vehicles valued at 35.5 million baht, and other assets worth 117.4 million baht. He reported liabilities of 64.6 million baht. His annual income is estimated at 7.4 million baht, comprising an MP salary of 1.4 million baht and 6 million baht in rental income. Annual expenses total 26.6 million baht, including 15.8 million baht in bank loans and 10.4 million baht in insurance premiums.
Arisara Prommapan, his registered spouse, declared 209.5 million baht in assets including 15.6 million baht in bank deposits, a 1 million baht loan issued on 28 April 2025, 23 land plots worth 109.2 million baht, 17 buildings valued at 64.6 million baht, nine vehicles totalling 10.7 million baht, and other assets of 8.4 million baht. She reported no liabilities. Their minor children declared 13.7 million baht in combined assets with annual income of 600,000 baht from consulting work.
Thanaporn Sriviracha, the cohabiting spouse, reported 174.9 million baht in assets comprising 31.7 million baht across seven bank accounts, 4.7 million baht in investments, 14 land plots worth 79 million baht, five buildings valued at 9 million baht, five vehicles totalling 19.6 million baht, and other assets of 30.9 million baht. She reported liabilities of 926,839 baht and annual income of 5.5 million baht from consulting and rental sources. Her children from another relationship declared 58.7 million baht in assets, primarily in bank deposits.
