Anutin Calls for Saltier Fried Chicken and Dark Soy in Party Kitchen
Deputy Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul visited the Bhumjaithai Party’s kitchen, urging staff to make the fried chicken saltier, add more dark soy sauce to the basil chicken, and increase portion sizes so people would not go hungry. He personally tasted the food, stirred the basil chicken, and confirmed the dish is halal. Anutin also noted that the party’s weekly meeting had occurred and that no discussion had taken place regarding MP Suchada Sang Thaenrap.
Anutin inspected the Bhumjaithai Party kitchen, telling staff to load the sticky rice with fried pork generously so people would be full in one serving. He then moved to the frying station, picked up a piece of chicken, tasted it, and said it was not salty enough, asking for a bit more salt. When he asked if more than four fried chicken pieces could fit in the box, staff warned it would overflow, but Anutin replied he feared people would not be satisfied. He later watched the basil chicken being cooked, urged cooks to add dark soy sauce for richer color, personally stirred the dish, and affirmed the party kitchen’s basil chicken is halal. After the tour, Anutin said the party’s weekly meeting had taken place and that the matter of MP Suchada Sang Thaenrap had not been discussed, adding that everything is governed by law.
