Anutin Represents Thai King at Norway Funeral
Thai PM Anutin represented the Thai King at King Harald V of Norway's funeral in Oslo on September 9, where he met with numerous world leaders to discuss bilateral relations and trade opportunities.
Prime Minister and Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul represented the Thai King at the funeral ceremony for King Harald V of Norway in Oslo on September 9, 2026, before attending an official reception at the Royal Palace. The ceremony took place at Oslo Cathedral at 17:30 local time, followed by a royal reception hosted by Norway's new King, Haakon VIII, where Anutin met with heads of state and senior representatives from around the world.
During the visit, Anutin held brief meetings with several world leaders, including the presidents of Georgia, Latvia, Albania, Germany, Estonia, Hungary, and the Czech Republic, as well as the prime ministers of France, Norway, Sweden, and Morocco. He said the meetings provided opportunities to exchange views on bilateral relations, cooperation, trade, investment, and new opportunities for mutual benefit between Thailand and the represented countries.
