On September 1, a beauty clinic in Bangkok's Nong Khaem area filed a complaint at Police Station 1 alleging that its owner, a doctor, used client photos and videos to advertise services as work reviews on TikTok without permission. The clinic seeks charges of copyright infringement for commercial purposes and entering false data into a computer system. On September 3, a 56-year-old patient complained to Dr. Thanakrit Chitrareeryan, secretary to the Minister of Social Development and Human Security, about complications from eyelid surgery. She paid nearly 70,000 baht but developed large scar tissue above both eyebrows, impairing her vision and daily life. On September 4, cyber police led by Dr. Thanakrit and Ministry of Public Health officials arrived to inspect the clinic at Petchkasem Soi 69, Nong Khaem. When staff saw the officers, they immediately locked the gate, trapping clients and relatives inside for over two hours. Police and Nong Khaem Station officers negotiated unsuccessfully before obtaining keys to enter. Inspectors found the clinic had a general business license but no surgical authorization. The doctor admitted to performing operations without proper clearance and offered to mediate the patient's dispute. Investigators collected digital evidence, and police will issue summons for charges under the law.
