Lawmaker Joins Boat Rescue and Water Safety Training
Anucha Nakasai, a Pheu Thai MP, joined boat rescue and water safety training in Chainat on September 4-5, donating a rescue vessel to local volunteers while participants from nine provinces obtained certified boat operator licenses.
Anucha Nakasai, Member of Parliament for Chainat District 1 from the Pheu Thai Party, participated in a boat rescue and water safety training curriculum held on September 4-5, 2025. The training was designed to develop the capabilities of rescue personnel to respond swiftly to emergencies and minimize casualties, while also ensuring that participants obtain legally compliant boat operator licenses with support from the Port Authority's regional office in Suphan Buri.
This was the second edition of the training organized by the Crisis Response and Emergency Team (CERT) and the Island Chainat team, who provided the training venue. Participants came from volunteer teams across multiple provinces including Rangsit in Bangkok, Suphan Buri, Ayutthaya, Ang Thong, Samut Sakhon, Chon Buri, Nakhon Pathom, Uthai Thani, and Nakhon Sawan. On this occasion, Anucha donated a rescue boat to the Chainat volunteer team for use in emergency operations.
Anucha expressed gratitude and admiration for all the volunteers who participated in the training and have worked to help the public with genuine dedication and commitment. He also thanked the instructors from multiple regions including Chon Buri, Nakhon Pathom, Uthai Thani, and Nakhon Sawan.
