The Ultimate Thailand 3x3 Series 2026, Thailand's premier 3x3 basketball tournament, officially launched on September 5 at Central Ayutthaya with 12 strong teams competing for passage to the FIBA 3x3 World Tour 2026 in Dubai. The opening ceremony was attended by Paskorn Rangsiwatthanasak, Secretary to the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, and Nipon Chawalilamontean, President of the Thai Basketball Association, as enthusiastic fans cheered from the sidelines while elite teams displayed their full capabilities in pursuit of the championship and a coveted Dubai world tour berth worth hundreds of thousands of baht in prize money.

The series represents a major collaboration between the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, Sports Authority of Thailand, Thai Basketball Association, and Tero Entertainment to develop Thai basketball talent across youth and open divisions. Players also have the opportunity to accumulate FIBA 3x3 Individual World Ranking points, with the tournament officially recognized by FIBA in the 3x3 Quest format.

The competition is divided into two divisions: the Open Men category with 12 teams competing for 120,000 baht in prize money and the prized opportunity to compete at the FIBA 3x3 World Tour 2026 in Dubai including airfare and accommodation; and the Under-18 Men division with 12 teams aimed at developing young talent for Thailand's future U23 national team. The championship finals take place on Sunday, September 6 at Central Ayutthaya with free admission for all basketball fans.
