Kan Jompluang Confident in Probe, Won't Trade Jabs on Social Media

Kan Jompluang has expressed confidence that he can undergo investigations repeatedly and stated he does not wish to engage in social media disputes, asking the public to focus on evidence instead and dedicate his time to helping people. Following Sitra Biang-Bukit's investigation into Kan Jompluang on multiple matters—including the Kan Jompluang Foundation, body armor pricing, and the lottery quota controversy involving visually impaired citizens—Kan Jompluang issued a clarification on September 5, 2026. He stated that the armor and foundation issues have already been addressed, with him previously taking investigators to relevant agencies and the armor company. "I confirm that what I and the foundation have done is correct and subject to inspection. We have already entered the investigation process. If any agency needs information, they can contact me or the Kan Jompluang Foundation directly. We are happy to cooperate," he said. Regarding financial statements, he noted that everyone should already know from the district office that the statements have been submitted, contrary to reports claiming they were not filed, and he welcomed further cooperation. On the lottery quota matter, Kan Jompluang stated this was not a new issue and that he has already undergone inspection on it previously, which concluded that his name does not appear on any quota list. He expressed willingness to undergo inspection multiple times without becoming concerned, but said he does not wish to engage in public disputes or social media arguments, preferring that people look at the evidence. When asked if he was concerned about lawyer Tam coordinating with one or two key sources to provide additional investigation information, Kan Jompluang said he was not worried, as new information could simply be submitted to the investigating authorities for review. He stated he would continue focusing on helping people, as spending time assisting others would be more worthwhile.
