British Influencer Dies After Genital Filler Procedure in Thailand

British-Nigerian influencer Ike Tiny Ubiribo, 43, died after undergoing genital enlargement injections at a clinic in Thailand while on holiday with his wife. According to a London coroner's inquiry, Ubiribo received 40 milliliters of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine injected into his genitals at a Thai clinic on March 5. After the procedure, while the couple was at a luxury Bangkok hotel and later getting a massage, Ubiribo complained of chest pain and lost consciousness twice before being rushed to a Sukhumvit hospital. Upon arrival, he was initially able to inform doctors about the procedure, but lost consciousness before undergoing a CT scan.

Doctors diagnosed him with pulmonary embolism and admitted him to intensive care. Doctors performed cardiac massage for over 100 minutes before Ubiribo died in the early morning of March 6. The UK coroner's office determined that the hyaluronic acid and lidocaine used in the genital enlargement procedure caused the blood clot.

Ubiribo was a luxury lifestyle influencer with approximately 185,000 Instagram followers who owned a house worth 1.1 million US dollars in Crenshaw, Los Angeles, and an apartment worth 600,000 US dollars in London. After his death, his body was buried in London in a gold coffin valued at 745,000 US dollars.
