Charity Treasurer Denies 100 Million Baht Transfer Allegations
The treasurer of the Bum Panadda Foundation, Org-an, has tearfully denied allegations that 100 million baht entered her personal accounts, insisting her income comes from legitimate businesses and social media management. She welcomes a full audit as police, led by Krachai, uncover a money trail linked to the foundation, with investigators saying the Phuket findings are just the tip of the iceberg. The controversy follows claims that 800 million baht was withdrawn from the charity's funds and that donated goods were found dumped on a 20-rai property.
Org-an, treasurer of the Bum Panadda Foundation, tearfully addressed allegations that 100 million baht had entered her bank accounts, declaring herself ready for a full audit. She emphasized she has worked side by side with Bum Panadda delivering aid to hardship-stricken communities without ever complaining.
The latest firestorm erupted when Phutta Abhiwan posted clips from his Phutta Talk program with the caption: "'Org-an,' the treasurer controlling 'Bum Panadda's' money, shocked! 800 million withdrawn, she weeps, fears becoming a scapegoat." Org-an is constantly seen at Bum Panadda's side.
Phutta said Org-an contacted his news team for a private talk. During their conversation, she cried after he warned she might bear legal responsibility as the foundation's registered treasurer. She had wept in earlier talks too, especially after 'An Phuwanat' publicly raised the 800-million-baht withdrawal, questioning why Mother Bum hadn't informed her.
Regarding the rumor that she holds 100 million baht, Org-an clarified she owns four rai of land and runs an online dried-orange business. She also earned income managing Bum Panadda's personal Facebook page and her own page, generating hundreds of thousands of baht monthly before her page was hacked two years ago. She vowed to open her accounts for inspection and denied any link to donated funds.
Org-an reiterated her willingness to be investigated, insisting there is no suspicious financial trail. She said collectible art toys worth tens of thousands each were bought only as birthday gifts for herself, and her gold holdings amount to just five baht-weight slabs. She is compiling financial documents, receipts, and purchase records and is not hiding.
On the dumped donations found on a 20-rai plot — where tents, a warehouse, and a pond were discovered — Org-an, in her capacity as a foundation director and treasurer, stated she never knew the site was connected to the charity.
